Movie Club 1 & 2 for 1st-6th graders

In the movie club, we learn the basics of filmmaking, such as scriptwriting, filming, acting, and editing. We work in small groups, where we produce the entire film ourselves from start to finish. We study storytelling and how to use video as a medium. In the classes, you get to work both in front of and behind the camera, and the editing work can be shared among students. We use tablets, GoPro cameras, and DSLRs, but you can bring your own device, such as a phone, if you wish. The movie club is organized by POPUP Ry

Art Club 1 for 1st-4th graders
In this art club, students get to paint, draw, design, manufacture and combine different techniques. An instructor will show different techniques, but the participants are the artists. The art club is organized by Lastenliitto Helsinki District Association.

PPJ Football club for 1st-2nd graders
The goal of this club is to combine fun, exercise, games, and good coaching. Players are insured. Bring your indoor sports clothes, including shoes, a water bottle, and your enthusiasm with you to the club!

Indian Dance Club – Beginners Level
Step into the colourful and joyful world of Indian dance! Arti teaches with a warm, encouraging and fun approach, making every child feel confident and excited to move. In this class, children learn simple steps, rhythms, expressive hand movements and dance patterns while enjoying vibrant Indian music. The focus is on joy, creativity and feeling good through movement.

Arti is an experienced dance teacher who brings positive energy and enthusiasm to every class. She believes that every child is a little star, and her lessons help them shine in their own way.

Beginners’ Yoga Club
Welcome to a calm and gentle yoga class designed for beginners! Arti guides the sessions with kindness, clarity and a soothing approach, helping each participant feel comfortable and supported. The class covers simple yoga poses, breathing exercises, light stretching and short relaxation – perfect for balancing the body and mind after a busy school day.

Arti is an experienced instructor known for her warm teaching style and ability to create a peaceful, positive atmosphere. There is no competition and no need to be flexible – just come as you are. Everyone learns at their own pace.

Show dance club for 1st-6th graders
Show dance club incorporates a variety of dance styles, techniques, and acrobatics. Students will get to practice a range of step series, dancing techniques, moving, improvisation, group working, and choreography. A lot of hit music is used. Show dance club is organized by Lastenliitto Helsinki District Association.
